Conqor B50 is a colloidal silica hydrogel admixture offering superior sub-surface concrete waterproofing.
Basement waterproofing, exposed roof decks, water tank and water infrastructure, marine environments, precast, shotcrete and piles.
Conqor B50 admixture has been formulated for use in all types of concrete and can be used in a wide range of water/cement ratio’s. Ideally water/cement ratio is between 0.41 and 0.54.This hydrogel over time reaches strengths similar to Calcium Silicate Hydrate (cement paste). Its most important function though, at any age, is that it stops moisture migration through the concrete porosity. Once the reaction has taken place, and the hydrogel is formed, it is permanent and cannot be reversed or removed, it becomes part of the concrete itself.

Execution | CONQOR B50 is dosed with the mix water at the concrete batching plant at 5.8ml per kg of cementitious content, with a minimum of 2 litres per cubic metre of mix. As CONQOR B50 effectively lubricates the mix, the concrete pumps very well and is easy to place and trowel.Manufacturer guidanceSuitable for shotcrete, pump mixes, standard concrete, and mixes containing fly ash or microsilica. Trial mixes are always recommended to evaluate and assess the effect CONQOR B50 admixture has on impermeability of each particular concrete mix. |
