TBA Firefly Penowrap®

Thin, lightweight, flexible wrap, can be used by Fire Engineers to design support systems which will withstand attack from fire for a period of 2 hours.
Application
TBA Firefly™ Penowrap® is used in conjunction with other TBA Firefly™ products to maintain the FRL of various walls, floors and ceilings where they are penetrated by either structural or service penetrations.
Tested systems include:
- Steel universal beams.
- Timber beams.
- C and Z purlins.
- Various service penetrations.
- All sizes and bundles of power and communication cables used in Australia (with or without Steel Cable Trays).
- Full range of VASS, EAE, ABB and IPD Electrical Busducts with either copper or aluminium conductor.
Suitable for support systems which carry:
- Ductwork.
- Large sprinkler pipes.
- Fire Rated Boxouts & Enclosures.
- Electrical Busways.
- Electrical Cable Trays etc.
Description
TBA Firefly™ Penowrap® is a thin, lightweight, flexible wrap which has extremely high Fire Resistance capabilities when used as a component of TBA Firefly™ systems, when tested in accordance with AS1530.4-2014 and assessed in accordance with AS4072.1-2005.
- The steel support systems protected with TBA Firefly™ Penowrap® have been shown to meet the Performance Requirements of the NCC.
- Withstood the loads applied and maintained these loads without collapse for a period of 2 hours when tested in accordance with AS1530.4-2014.
