Description

1. OVERVIEW:

High density revenue and non-revenue grade submeter with two Reference Voltages and 1, 2 or 3 phase system in a lockable, sealable enclosure. The GATEWAYTM series has a 2-part design, with separate Meter Head and Meter Base for easy installation. Meter can be configured for 12, 24, 36 or 48 pulse or electrical inputs to accurately measure and bill gas, water and electricity in multi-unit applications. Electrical inputs are configured for 80mA, 100mA Solid Core or 333mV Split Core CTs. Communications include Ethernet with native BACnet IP, Modbus TCP, secure FTPS multi-homing AMR and Wi-Fi interface for local monitoring and configuration.

2. FEATURES AND SPECIFICATIONS

• Revenue Grade (billing- ready, sealable, reliable).

• 4-quadrant meter measures total and per phase:

  • Active, Reactive & Apparent Power
  • Peak W and VA Demand
  • PF and phase angles
  • Irms, Vrms

• Configurable mix of 1-phase, 2-phase, or 3-phase electric metering for 12, 24, 36 and 48 CT Inputs.

• Utilization of up to 48 pulse counters for monitoring gas, thermal or water consumption.

• Modular design means only one (1) meter can be configured to monitor electricity, water and gas at the same time. Pulse counter can be mixed with CT inputs.

• MBus capabilities to communicate with GWF water meters.

• Connects to 80mA, 100 mA Solid Core CTs, 333mV Split Core CTs, and Rogowski Coil.

• CT connectivity can be achieved over the distance of up to 330 ft (100m) from meter with 22 AWG wire pairs.

• Dual Reference Voltages up to 277V with no external PTs.

• On-board Web Server and large 4x20 Liquid Crystal Display for local readings.

• Multi-homing for reporting to multiple management services.

• Innovative 2-part design with separate Meter Head and Meter Base for easy and flexible installation, repair and replacement.

• Sealable for Tamper-Evident compliance.

• Integrated self-shorting CT connection modules.

• Wi-Fi- Access Point with Cloud Based Meter Management.

• On-board non-volatile flash memory is unaffected by power outages and holds up to 10 years of meter data.

• On-board real-time clock with battery back-up holds time up to 20 years

• Multi-point economic efficiencies for retrofit or new construction

• Remotely configurable and upgradable with Ethernet connectivity

• Indoor or enclosed outdoor environment (-20 to 70 degrees Celsius)

3. REPORTING AND COMMUNICATIONS

• AMR via secure FTPS data push over IP to one or multiple management servers:

  • Plain text CSV file
  • Measurement interval: 5 to 60 minutes
  • Reporting interval: once/day or every N min.

• Local browser or remote configuration

• Logged Measurements for AMR (interval and register)

• Legal Units of Measurement

  • Wh Delivered & Received

• Non-Legal Units of Measurement

  • Peak & Present W & VA Demand
  • Vah & Vrms
  • Peak Current

• BAS Integration via BACNet IP, ModBus TCP/IP.
