Riverside Housing, Flat Refurbishment, Middleton

OVERVIEW

Riverside Housing Association has been a social landlord for over 80 years and has won the Social Landlord of the Year award twice in a row. With such experience and expertise behind them, they know a good roofing product when they see one.

So when four 6-storey purpose built blocks of flats required rooftop refurbishments, Riverside decided to use Metrotile’s classic Bond profile, in Charcoal.

Prior to the refurbishment, the buildings had a competitor’s Lightweight Steel Roofing System that had reached the end of its life. By replacing the profiles with a Metrotile System, Riverside know that the rooftops are guaranteed weatherproof for 40 years, beating our nearest competitor’s guarantee by a significant ten-year margin.
