OVERVIEW

Featured: Biodrier 3D Smart Dry Hand Dryer

OVERVIEW

In March 2025, Redland Community Primary School took a major step towards sustainability and modernisation by installing a number of Biodrier 3D Smart Dry Hand Dryers. This move aligns with the school’s ongoing commitment to environmental responsibility, energy efficiency, and improving the overall hygiene standards for students and staff.

CHALLENGE

Prior to the installation, Redland Community Primary School had been using conventional paper towels and older hand dryers. While these methods were functional, they presented a series of challenges:

    1. Environmental Impact: The school was generating a significant amount of paper waste with paper towels, which had to be regularly restocked and disposed of.
    2. Maintenance Issues: Traditional hand dryers were either inefficient or outdated, leading to frequent breakdowns and high running costs.
    3. Hygiene and User Experience: Conventional hand dryers often took too long to dry hands, leading to wet hands and spreading germs.
    4. Energy Efficiency: The school was looking for an energy-efficient solution to reduce electricity consumption.

SOLUTION

Redland Community Primary School opted for the Biodrier 3D Smart Hand Dryer due to its advanced features, sustainability benefits, and innovative design. The Biodrier 3D Smart is designed with high-speed drying technology, which significantly reduces the drying time while using less energy than traditional hand dryers.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

    • Fast drying: under 10 seconds.
    • Low energy: uses just 200-800 W energy (ultra-low for a hand dryer).
    • Further energy saving: automatically adjusts the heater in the hand dryer, depending on the ambient temperature in the room. This means that during cold seasons, users have a comfortable hand drying experience, and in the warmer seasons, energy consumption can be reduced, therefore saving money.
    • Hygienic: Triple HEPA Grade 13 filter - removes 99.9% bacteria to ensure germ-free air, while using this hand dryer.
    • Long-lasting: brushless hand dryer motors are superior, with an increased lifespan, less maintenance required, and less energy usage.
    • Low noise: as low as 65 dBA @ 1 metre
