Changing Places for Local Authorities

OVERVIEW

Closomat works closely with local authorities across the country, installing high-spec Changing Places toilets in community centres, car parks, information centres, leisure centres and other vital community hubs, as part of refurbishment programmes and new constructions.


Closomat has vast experience in these areas, working alongside other contractors to ensure facilities are robust and meet all the required standards. The company also frequently works with local authorities to realise facilities utilising funding from The Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities, central government Changing Places fund, for which it is a preferred supplier.


Closomat has installed Changing Places facilities for the following local authorities:

  • Mid Suffolk District Council – Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre

  • Torbay Council – Festival Apollo toilet block on Paignton seafront
  • Warminster Town Council – Warminster Civic Centre
  • West Berkshire Council  Northcroft Leisure Centre
  • Wiltshire Council  County Hall in Trowbridge


Facilities at Calderstone Park, Liverpool; The Look Out Discovery Centre (Swinley Forest); Mid Suffolk Leisure Centre; Northcroft Leisure Centre, West Berkshire; Tamworth Castle; Warminster Civic centre and Wilson Centre, Hull, include the added benefit of a Closomat wash and dry toilet. These facilities go above and beyond British Standards, allowing them to support a wider range of users including those who require additional help with cleaning after toileting.
