OVERVIEW
Minimalistic treatments for flexible spaces
The project
When redesigning their London office meeting rooms, Grimshaw Architects knew acoustic treatment would be necessary to ensure their team could comfortably collaborate.
We spoke with James Blundall, architect at Grimshaw Architects, to understand their specification process and why they chose Autex Acoustics® Frontier™ for the space.
The subtle yet impactful nature of Frontier was a key factor for the team when selecting Frontier as the appropriate acoustic treatment for the meeting rooms. “We thought that the design of the [Frontier] system provided a clean, minimalistic aesthetic,” described James, “but also visual interest and a softness to the space.”
