Acrovyn Wall Protection at Huddersfield Royal Infirmary's A&E
OVERVIEW
The £15 million redevelopment of Huddersfield Royal Infirmary’s Accident & Emergency (A&E) department delivers a modern, patient-centred facility featuring private resuscitation bays, children’s areas, advanced x-ray rooms, and a dedicated bereavement suite.
In adult areas, Acrovyn Sheet in Snow White was installed with HRB-20 hand/crash rails for added support and impact resistance. Paediatric zones featured Acrovyn by Design with colourful themed artwork and matching hand/crash rails, creating a welcoming environment for children. Door and corner protection were also included to protect key areas from wear and tear.
These measures ensure the space remains safe, resilient, and visually appealing for patients and staff.
