64 Princes Street, Edinburgh - Case Study

Princes Street, formerly a retail space, was refurbished into a

high-end new addition to Edinburgh city centre.

The refurbishment would see the building repurposed into a mixed offering of a hotel, office and retail space.

Originally built in the 1960’s, the existing structure had some

obstacles to overcome.

The refurbishment also added an additional storey to the existing structure creating additional loading challenges on the existing foundations.
