OVERVIEW
Sutton Place in Bexhill-on-Sea features three blocks of flats, privately owned and maintained via a residents committee.
All three blocks had flat roofs that had not only succumbed to years of wear and tear, but would be unsuitable if installed today under current regulations anyway.
The most suitable solution for all 3 blocks was an addition of a lightweight steel frame to convert them to a pitched roof with a Metrotile system used as the covering
