OVERVIEW
Switching from paper towels to energy efficient hand dryers
Intelligent Facility Solutions were tasked with calculating the carbon savings of switching from paper to dryers and then delivering the supply and fit of hand dryers across the YHA locations in England and Wales.
Based on the initial 23 sites that were surveyed it was calculated that the YHA could make annual savings of 20,228Kg/CO2 switching to the Dryflow EcoSlim hand dryer.
That would save 107 virgin trees per year. These hand dryers are 86 - 96% more energy efficient than a conventional hand dryer.
