Warwick University - SALTO Mailboxes

THE PROJECT

The Claycroft Halls of Residence at The University of Warwick has selected a Salto electronic mailbox solution manufactured by The Safety Letterbox Company to replace existing mailboxes. The Estates Manager at the University decided to integrate the Salto Mailboxes into the campus to handle Claycroft’s student mail in a secure and controlled environment.

These mailboxes will protect against mail theft and identity fraud, provide increased security and access control to individual mailboxes with full traceable entry. This eliminates the need and expense of having to reissue replacement keys to students as they will be able to operate and access their mailbox with their existing student ID card and room key.

The mailboxes will be integrated with the existing SALTO access control system which is already in place across campus and follows on the universities recent installation of Salto mailboxes in the Sherbourne residence.
