Description

A Flat Glass AOV (Automatic Opening Vent) NSHEV (Natural Smoke and Heat Exhaust Ventilation) rooflight manufactured to BS EN 12101-2 for heat and smoke ventilation. The smoke vents come in two standard sizes, which achieve a Geometric Free Area (GFA) of 1.0 m² and 1.5 m² respectively.

Features and benefits:

  • Powered by two 24v concealed folding arm actuators.
  • Control Panel comes with electric lock, battery backup and 24v transformer.
  • Fully thermally broken aluminium frames prevent cold bridging, reducing the risk of condensation.
  • Fully insulated base frame provides excellent thermal efficiency.
  • Access and ventilation options.
  • Smoke, gas, wind, and rain sensors available.
  • Break glass and override switches available.
  • Full integration to building fire management system.
  • Excellent thermal performance, with total system U-values as low as 0.9 W/m²K achievable.
  • Quick and easy to install.
  • Minimal framework: daylight is maximized while the visible framework is minimized.
  • Can also be used for natural ventilation.
  • Can also be used for occasional access.
  • More daylight -> less artificial light -> energy savings.

Designed to standard loadings of 640 N/m² (snow) and 750 N/m² (wind) and in accordance with the following Standards:

  • BS 6375-1 2015+A1 2016: Weather tightness.
  • BS EN 1026: Air permeability.
  • BS EN 1027: Water tightness test.
  • BS EN 12211: Wind resistance test.

  • BS EN ISO 16396-2:2017: Polyamide Thermal Break.
