Lightweight Grasscrete void former, reinforcement mesh, concrete soil and seed options used to create a monolithic cellular reinforced paving area using in-situ concrete.


Features and benefits:

  • Isn't structurally influenced by grass and can therefore be trafficked before grass establishment.
  • Does not require edge restraints, enabling it to blend naturally with adjacent finishes.
  • The unique pocket profile enables the release of frost heave and hydro-static pressure.
  • Soil pockets are enclosed and protected by concrete structure helping to prevent washout and weed colonization when used on slopes.
  • Capable of draining at rates of up to 90% that of original ground, a feature that helps to maintain natural ground conditions and the local eco-system.
  • Creates a natural biological filter as part of the percolation process that enables either an attenuated ground water re-charge or rainwater harvesting to choice as part of a Sustainable Urban Drainage (SUDS) scheme.
  • The system can incorporate an integral sprinkler system for use in arid climates.
