Application
- Used to obtain flow measurements in HVAC systems.
- To obtain an accuracy of +/– 3%, the Series 7340 should be installed in a straight run of pipe having at least five (5) pipe diameters upstream and three (3) pipe diameters downstream free of flow disturbances (i.e., valves, outlets, fittings, etc.).
- When the Series 7340 is close coupled to a globe-style or butterfly balancing valve, five (5) straight pipe diameters upstream of the valve is required to obtain +/-5% accuracy.
- Install the Series 7340 with two (2) Style 107N Installation-Ready™ rigid couplings.
