Busy commercial areas with risk of high viscosity contaminants such as oil, margarine and grease within kitchens and intensive food preparation areas. Also suitable for barefoot and continually wet areas.
A safety flooring incorporating enhanced levels of coloured quartz, aluminium oxide silicon carbide particles and natural recycled aggregates in the vinyl to provide sustainable wet slip resistance for the guaranteed life of the product.
The floor covering conforms to a wide range of international standards including the European Norm for Safety Flooring EN 13845 and is fully compliant with Health and Safety Executive and UK Slip Resistance Group Guidelines, achieving a low slip potential classification. A result of 40+ is achieved on the RRL Pendulum Wet Test using Four-S/Slider 96 rubber and 36+ using TRL/Slider 55 rubber. The product achieves a typical surface roughness result of 70 microns + to lower the slip potential in areas with risks of high viscosity contaminant spillages.
Ultima meets the 50 000 cycles abrasion test to EN 13845, meaning the product provides sustainable slip resistance. The product contains antimicrobial agents, is resistant to dilute acids and alkalis and is classified as anti-static in accordance with EN 1815.
Polysafe Ultima achieves a BRE Global Environmental A+ Rating (Certificate No: ENP 472) in major use areas such as education and healthcare. The product is also 100% recyclable and contains recycled material. The product is R11 rated.
