Designed for the protection of pavements and hard landscaped areas, the ribbed RootDirector system prevents root girdling and diverts root growth downward and outward thus avoiding the unsightly and hazardous root damage so commonly seen in urban areas.

The RootDirector’s rigid, one-piece construction makes installation simple.

Designed to sit on top of soil cells and direct surface roots down into the cell areas protecting the build-up to FFL. It provides a base to build a concrete haunch against to support a grille at FFL, so depths and upper apertures need to be taken into account.

Can be used with or without a GBU RootDirector Riser.
