Designed to meet or exceed Part L of the building regulations, the AT loft hatch range is offered with three insulation options, giving U-values of 0.35, 0.25 and 0.15. It excels in both positive and negative air pressures at 50 Pa, exceeding requirements for new properties' airtightness and insulation. The air permeability test follows BS EN 1026:2000 and BS EN 12207:2000 standards, specifically for ceiling use.
The hatch features a spring-loaded twist catch lock that ensures a high compression seal between the door and frame. Additionally, the outer frame is equipped with a seal to prevent air from escaping around the hatch's outer edge.
Insulation:
The AT35 features 65 mm foam insulation bonded to the inside of the lid, while the AT25 and AT15 offer 100 mm insulation.
Lock options:
Choose the standard twist lock with a tri-drive lock body, which comes with an opening key. For added security, an optional key lock is available (key included). Please note that the pole is not compatible with the key lock option.
Easy installation:
Screw fix through the pre-drilled holes in the frame into the surrounding joists.
Features and benefits:
