Description
A classic British design, the Sheffield Stand is a secure parking solution for standard and non-standard cycles, including cargo bikes and trikes. The stand is sturdy and streamlined it is constructed of thick stainless or galvanised steel tubing, bent into the shape of a square arch. Allowing people to lock the frame, front and rear wheel of a bike, safeguarding it against theft.
We provide Sheffield Stands in two styles, surface-mount or root fixed. The most secure option is root fixed, where the stand is concreted into the ground. The quickest option, offering adequate security, is surface-mounted, where the stand is bolted into the concrete using high-security shear nuts.
The additional tapper plate or tapper tube feature allows visually impaired pedestrians to identify the presence of a cycle stand. Parking stickers can be added to the flat sides of a tapper plate Sheffield Stand.
