Vertical twisted fins are best-suited for multi-storey car park façades to achieve complex design visions.
Twisted fins can be configured to meet the different aspects of any design brief. The angle and position of the twist, orientation and overall pattern can all be designed to meet the most exacting requirements of any façade. In car park projects, Maple's twisted fin façade blades have a spring-load mechanism to counter the natural building movement and retain the blade pattern and positioning.
Fin Construction:
6063 T4 aluminium flat fin extrusion. Fins installed to suitable fixing grounds by purpose-designed bracketry.
Bracket Construction:
Laser cut and folded brackets, designed and engineered to suit the project location, wind loadings and tolerances, manufactured from mild steel S275 (or superior) and installed direct to suitable fixings grounds. Front end of bracket comprises a secondary system that incorporates a spring arrangement which ensures the fins are constantly under tension whilst allowing for building live loads.
Fin Colour/ Finish:
Specific to each project – polyester powder-coated 60 µm or anodized 25 µm.
