Description
Hydraulic Road Blockers, otherwise known as Rising Kerbs, offer a solution to unwanted vehicle access and will deter the most determined intruder. They are ideal for manned and unmanned vehicle parks.
-Type A:
Available in two sizes (2 or 2.5 m), capable of withstanding axle weights of 3 t, with an operating time of 3 seconds.
-Type B:
Available in five sizes (2, 2.5, 3, 3.9 or 4.9 m), capable of withstanding axle weights of 12 t, with an operating time of 5 seconds.
Features and benefits:
- Manufactured from a welded steel rectangular hollow section frame and durbar top plate, featuring a hydraulic power pack to raise and lower the unit smoothly.
- A state of the art programmable logic controller co-ordinates the hydraulics, access control and traffic light signalling system.
- During power failure an emergency lowering facility is activated (fitted as standard).
- A variety of access control options are available including proximity card, radio, token, keypad and intercom. Combined with induction loop or photocell safety and close facilities, these ensure the rising kerbs open and close smoothly on each activation.
- Conforms to BS 6571.
- Two pairs of (red/ green) traffic lights.
