Application
Suitable for installation on external solid masonry substrate walls (where masonry includes clay and calcium silicate bricks, concrete blocks and natural and reconstituted stone blocks, concrete or no-fines concrete).
Suitable for use on existing or new, residential and non-residential high-rise buildings up to and over 18 m in height in the United Kingdom (UK).
The System can be designed for a 30 or 60-year service-life durability as required.

Description
A mechanically fixed external wall insulation (EWI) Mineral wool, EPS and Phenolic options available. EPS and Phenolic systems are Euro classification B-s1, d0.
MW insulation in slab form is bonded and mechanically fixed through the glass-fibre reinforced basecoat layer, into the solid masonry wall. The System is completed with one of two available render finishes. Also available with a flexible brick slip finish to re-create a brick appearance with lightweight slips.
Must include a minimum of one stainless steel fixing per/m² of MW insulation, or per insulation batt, whichever is the lesser, fixed through the reinforcing mesh and MW insulation, in addition to the other MW insulation fasteners normally specified.
The System is classified as Euroclass A2-s1, d0 according to BS EN 13501-1.
