Description
The Sash Window Workshop's casement windows have been designed to improve the energy efficiency of casement windows in listed buildings, while retaining their traditional beauty.
The windows replicate as closely as possible the proportions and designs of traditional timber casement windows, whilst incorporating the latest manufacturing techniques to use slim double glazing (or single glazing when this isn't approved).
Features and benefits:
- Available with single or double glazing (non-Document L) and a range of glazing bars.
- All windows comply with the European manufacturing standard EN 14351 and European glazing standard EN 1279.
- FSC certification for 100% of the timber used.
- All the processes in the manufacture and installation of the windows are controlled in-house.
- The windows have a minimum service life of 60 years if properly maintained.
- UKCA marked.
