The AUTOPA Fixed Height Restrictor:

• Has a standard clearance of 2.2 m and limits access to high sided vehicles such as HGV’s and Caravans.
• Height restrictors are ideal for use on sites where limited overhead clearance will cause problems for high sided vehicles such as multi-story or underground car parks.
• Manufactured from galvanized mild steel, the body of the height restrictor is coated red as standard (other colours are available upon request; please state BS/RAL numbers at time of order).
• The Fixed Height Restrictor is available ragged or flanged and can be fitted with a knocking bar and/or a maximum height warning sign upon request.
• Knocking Bar: 48 mm diameter tube.
• Standard Clearance: 2.2 m (2.05 m with a knock bar).
• 3 mm wall thickness.
• 600 mm below ground (ragged only).
• Main Body: 90 x 90 mm square tube.

The AUTOPA Double Fixed Height Restrictor:

• Limits access to high sided vehicles and is perfect for use on commercial and industrial sites.
• The height restrictor has a standard clearance of 2.2m and spans two carriageways, preventing vehicles from circumnavigating the access control measures in place.
• Manufactured from galvanized mild steel, the body of the height restrictor is available ragged or flanged and is coated red as standard. Other colours are available upon request (please state BS/RAL numbers at time of order).
• To alert drivers of the oncoming obstruction knocking bars and maximum height warning signs can be added as required.
• Knocking Bar: 48 mm diameter tube.
• Standard Clearance: 2.2 m (2.05 m with a knock bar).
• 600 mm below ground (ragged only)

Installation:

• Flanged Height Restrictors require bolting down to a suitable concrete surface (not less than 600 mm³) by means of four 16 mm bolts per leg.
• Ragged Height Restrictors require an excavated hole of at least 600 mm³ for casting into concrete per leg.
• It is recommended that suitable signs are installed to ensure vehicles are aware of the obstruction.
