• E Version: For increased resistance to both wind uplift in exposed locations and corrosion in coastal locations, the ventilator can be supplied in 1.0 mm-thick, 316 grade stainless steel. Where extreme weather conditions are likely, consideration should be given to providing more weathering cover to upstands and slating or tiling to improve the integrity of the detail.
• FR Version: To reduce spread of fire through ventilation apertures, the ventilator can be supplied with an intumescent seal.

Note: Standard AIRTRAK® details assume moderate weather conditions. Small amounts of moisture may be admitted under heavy storm conditions. Where more severe weather conditions are likely, consideration should be given to increasing the vertical overlap dimension to upstands and to slating or tiling to improve the integrity of the weathering detail. Introduces continuous ventilation at the head of a slated or tiled roof pitch where the ridge is weathered with a lead or zinc ridge capping.

Features and benefits:

• The stainless steel profile is supplied pre-bent to suit the roof pitch as specified, and is fixed to the ridge timber and covered with the ridge flashing
• At lower pitches, the ventilator is combined with the appropriate low pitch soaker to maintain the integrity of the detail.

- Tiled roof applications:

• 45-65° roof pitch: VR200.
• 28-44° roof pitch: VR200 + LPS150.

- Slated roof applications:

• 35-65° roof pitch: VR200.
• 25-34° roof pitch: VR200 + LPS225.
• 20-24° roof pitch: VR250 + LPS225.
