Apex is an affordable and off-the-shelf alternative to bespoke low planter systems. Manufactured from high grade durable aluminium (6005A), Apex is a sturdy 6 mm thick. Supplied in a natural milled finish and it is also available to order in a durable anodic bronze-effect finish or power-coated to any RAL on request. Standing at 225 mm high from its integral fixing feet, it is tall enough to create a clear step around planted areas even after hard landscaping has been laid.

It can be easily cut with an angle grinder or hacksaw. Its straight lengths and preformed internal and external corners simply clip together for instant alignment. Pre-drilled holes in the feet allow it to be attached to solid concrete with concrete fixings, laid on compacted Type 1 hardcore with spike fixings or secured to a roof terrace system frame. As no haunching is required to keep the edging from moving, hard landscaping can be installed as soon as it has been fixed down.
