The combination of this situation with the failure of the heat pump (damage/ fault/ lack of electrical power) can lead to situations in which the temperature of the fuid approaches freezing point, thus exposing the system to possible damage. The valve effectively prevents freezing, protecting the system. When the fluid temperature approaches 3°C, the valve discharges water to prevent ice formation and system damage.

The antifreeze valve operates without electrical power, making it particularly suitable for installations at risk of power outages during the winter season.
