Description
An aluminium alloy range of doors. Door sections are square cut and assembled with extruded engineered cleats and M10 tie rods for additional strength and robustness. Infills of glass are glazed by bead glazing internally and externally. All vertical door beads are mechanically fixed externally for security. The system will accommodate a range of glazing thicknesses from 6 to 11 mm for single glazed units and from 24 to 28 mm double glazed units. Glass is set dry between TPE gaskets internally and externally, and weatherstripping is woven pile, polypropylene backed, premier density.

Type
28 mm insulating glass units incorporating low emissivity glass (en = 0.05) and argon filled cavity. Inner pane 6 mm toughened, and outer pane 6.4 mm laminated, to Building Regulations including Document L and BS 6180 where applicable. Maximum centre pane U-Value = 1.2 W/m²K. Glazing on the southeast and southwest elevations to have Guardian Sunguard HS Superneutral 70/71 coating.
