Portugal Cruise Terminal Case Study

by Hempel A/S

The port of Lisbon, on the banks of the Tagus estuary, is visited by more than 500,000 cruise passengers a year. Not only is the city a major tourist destination, but its port serves as a gateway to much of the world, from the American coast to the Mediterranean and North Africa. The demand is such that, on 10 November 2017, Lisbon Cruise Terminals added a new terminal to its existing Lisbon infrastructure. The new facility won the ‘Best Urban Rehabilitation Project’ prize at the SIL Portuguese Real Estate Fair 2017 and, needless to say, we are proud of our contribution.
