Technical information on the range of Hush Slab sound absorber slabs. The product's mineral wool composition means it can provide high levels of sound insulation in separating walls, floors and ceilings, whilst at the same time being fire resistant. Hush Slab has an A1 classification which means it complies with the requirements of non-combustible materials/products, as defined in all UK and Irish Building Regulations. It is available in four thicknesses - 100mm, 75mm, 50mm and 25mm - making it suitable for a wide variety of acoustic wall and floor designs. Hush Slab’s high density mineral fibre composition is derived from inorganic rock. This makes it durable and resistant to the growth of fungi, mould or bacteria, as well as being rot-proof, odourless and completely non-hygroscopic.
