Is available in a variety of finishes including a basket weave pattern and a mirror effect offering a unique alternative to the classic brushed finish. The mailbox is suitable for both domestic and commercial customers, and can be wall mounted, wall recessed, or freestanding with the use of support legs, tables and frames.

The Steel 1 – Lateral mailbox is a popular variation of the classic Steel 1 product, featuring an adjusted set of dimensions to suit installation areas with a restricted height availability. The Steel 1 – Lateral mailbox is an in front/ out front product ideal for wall recessing, wall mounting or freestanding with the use of support legs. The mailbox is available in any polyester powder coated finish from our standard RAL colour chart. Vinyl numbering and engraving also available for easy identification of individual mailboxes.

Steel 1 is an in front/ out front vertical collection mailbox that is suitable for internal property usage. The front face of the mailbox contains a full sized steel door that is recessed into the body of the product to maximize security and minimize the opportunity of a leverage point being gained upon the door. The mailbox is manufactured using zintec steel and finished with polyester powder coated paint to a choice of any RAL colour from the standard colour range.

We have worked continually with the market to understand the Fire rating demands on projects, and consequently have produced an alternative to our high level product for those sites where products can conform to Class 0 - BS476 Part 6 & 7. This standard typically tests the material that the product is made of to see if it will fuel a fire, and for surface spread of flame, whereas Part 22 will contain and form a break to a fie and the box or bank of boxes will maintain its integrity for one hour ie. will not allow breakout.

- Burj Khalifa: The Safety Letterbox Company worked closely with Skidmore, Owings & Merrill
architects and Emaar properties, to produce a visually impressive and secure bespoke arrangement of 28 banks of 50 mailboxes for three purpose designed mailrooms in the impressive skyscraper.
- Rasgas: Incoming Rasgas mail would be posted into individual mailboxes via a letterflap and then retrieved by the recipient of the mail via a digital locking system. This would have the effect of cutting out the use of keys and increasing security when using the mailbox (as codes could be changed and updated as employees left the company).
