731-D Suction Diffuser - Strainer for Mechanical Piping Systems

Suction diffuser used on LTHW, CHW, Condenser pipework systems. Used instead of Y-Type Strainers. Significantly reduces pipework footprint and space needed inside mechanical plantrooms.
Application

- Provides optimum flow conditions at the suction inlet side of the pump, while protecting the pump against cavitation.

A ductile iron suction diffuser.
- Applicable to heating, cooling - LTHW, CHW, Condenser systems.
- Used instead of a y-type strainer.
- Significantly reduces the pipework footprint inside mechanical plantroom. Saving valuable space.
Features and benefits:
- Allows building up at a 90° angle from the pump, saving valuable space in the mechanical room while still protecting the pump against cavitation.
- Mating flange made in accordance to ANSI Class 150, EN1095-1 PN10/PN16, JIS 10K, or Australian AS 2129 Table "E".
- Sizes from 3 – 12″ | DN80 – DN300.
- Pressures up to 365 psi | 2517 kPa | 25 bar.
- Plug at the bottom of the body allows for easy draining of the system.
- Ports provided on the body to measure system pressure and suction diffuser differential pressure.
