Construction

Louvres are constructed from folded sheet metal and have a series of horizontal blades contained within two side frames.

Guidance for specification option:

  • Louvre blades have lower/rear faces of perforated or expanded mesh, containing a fibrous sound absorbent infill that is non-shedding, non-combustible, non-hygroscopic, and chemically inert.
  • Infill can be faced with glass cloth to minimize fibre migration. Galvanized bird screens or nylon-coated insect mesh can be fitted to the rear of the louvre if required.
