Forgiving splay cycle kerb for demarcation of the edge of a segregated cycleway.
Description
Concrete cycle kerb featuring a forgiving splay. This splay allows the cycle lane to sit at a lower level than the adjoining footway or surface.
Features and benefits:
- Sits comfortably below the rotational space of cycle pedals, meaning pedal strike is avoided.
- Allows cycles to ride safely at the edges of the cycle lane, meaning the full width of the cycle lane can be utilized.
- Allows comfortable and safe exit or entry to the cycle lane at any point along the route.
- Kerbs can also be bespoke made from natural stone if required.
