Unitized curtain wall facade system.
Unitized curtain wall system that complies with all requirements for large building projects.
Can be constructed in two different ways: As mullion-transoms or as completely finished unitized systems
Curtain Wall 86 is a unitized curtain wall system that complies with all requirements for large building projects. CW 86 offers a special solution, where cassettes or elements can be pre-assembled in the workshop. On the building site, the cassettes can either be hooked on to a traditional stick structure (CW 86) or the facade can be built up element by element according to the modular curtain wall principle (CW 86-EF).

As a special application, it is also possible to assemble fixed filling elements directly in the main frame. The inner and outer aspect of this adjusted main frame is identical, except for the seal gasket of the glass frames. Finally the different main frames are connected by means of three wind- and water-tight gaskets continuing in the corners. |

Recycled contentAs defined in clause 7.8 of BS EN ISO 14021 | Manufacturer guidanceOn a project specific basis Reynaers can offer 75% + post-consumer scrap. Please contact Reynaers direct for further information. Aluminium is one of the most recycled materials on Earth and can be recycled endlessly into itself. It is 100% recyclable and retains its properties indefinitely. Reynaers guarantees that its systems meet the highest technical specifications and standards. We therefore issue a 10-year system guarantee. This is an insurance on the aluminium profiles, lacquer or anodisation layer, as well as on the insulation. On the accessories, we grant a 5-year system guarantee. Due to the global limited availability of recycled aluminium, the objective to increase recycled content to 75% doesn't have any environmental benefit. Increasing recycled content for 1 project or product only means other projects/products contain less. However, Reynaers Aluminium works closely together with its suppliers to ensure a correct % of recycled content. As there is a variation between the recycled content provided by these suppliers, we communicate the annual averages. For specific projects, Reynaers Aluminium can select a supplier with high recycled content, possibly with price impact and extended delivery times. To improve the environmental impact of aluminium, Reynaers Aluminium focusses on following important aspects: • Use recycled content: work together with suppliers to ensure the use of recycled content. • Purchase low carbon primary aluminium: decrease the CO2 impact of the primary aluminium, which is necessary to produce extrusion billets, by using low carbon primary aluminium, produced by green electricity (primarily hydro power). • Work closely together with European Aluminium to improve the global impact of aluminium production and improve sorting and recycling. This approach has the most impact as it combines short term with long term improvements of the aluminium industry, to make a clear environmental shift. |
