ASB Adjustable Tin

The ASB Adjustable Tin consists of two aluminium parts, each 3200 mm long and 2 mm thick. The tin board is height adjustable – according to the player's skill level and rules of competition, the top of the tin board is set to 430 mm or 480 mm above the finished floor level. The top part of the tin (50 mm wide profile) projects into the court by 15 mm at the top and 35 mm at the bottom. It is shaped so it deflects all the bounces and identifies the player's mistake - if the ball hits the tin board, this is audible because of the different sound of impact.

The ASB Three Position Tin is suitable for international competition in squash doubles. For WSF-recognised world and regional events and Commonwealth Games, the width of the court is expanded from 7620 mm to 8420 mm and the height of the tin board lowered to 330 mm from the floor to the top.
