The Axim LK-2100 deadlatch product is an suitable product to be used and specified alongside the Axim ES-2200 Electric Strike range offering a remote access control solution for doors.

Description

A deadlatch designed for narrow stile timber and hollow metal doors.


Features and benefits:

  • Fully reversible latch bolt without opening the deadlatch case.
  • Will accept euro and round mortice cylinders.
  • Three backsets available: 25 mm, 28 mm and 38 mm.
  • Strike plates are available to suit single and double door applications.
  • Lower stock levels required – cost savings.
  • The Axim LK-2100 dead latch is an all metal case complete with the main latch body structure being constructed to prevent certain unauthorized case entry.
  • The Axim LK-2100 dead latch is available with either flat face or radius face faceplates that are ordered as separate items.
  • A nylon insert is added to the latch bolt to prevent friction in operation.
  • Anti thrust tab with hardened tip to prevent excessive wear.

Manufacturer guidance

Handle:

  • Designed to operate with the dead latch via a cam plug (supplied).
  • The handle can be fitted to either side of the door, and a standard rim cylinder can be fitted to the reverse side for access.
  • Secured in the latch body by cylinder set screw. It is also rigidly tied to lever handle escutcheon by steel pins.
  • Finish: Satin silver anodized aluminium with zinc plated steel internal components.

- Lever:

  • Available with curved or flat handle.

- Paddle:

  • Push or pull versions available.
  • Specify hand required. Handing may be reversed by removing the spring clip and turning the cam plate over.
  • Satin black aluminium housing.
