BioClad® antimicrobial polyvinyl chloride (PVC) panel containing Biocote silver ion antimicrobial additive throughout the product thickness to inhibit the growth of bacteria and mould. BioClad® Antimicrobial PVC provides a lifetime guarantee from a single source manufacturer and incorporates a exclusive installer warranty.

Antimicrobial performance:

BioClad® impregnated with BioCote silver ion technology. Once incorporated, the antimicrobial additive provides continuous built-in antimicrobial protection for the lifetime of the product. The level of microbes which may affect the aesthetics and performance of BioClad is reduced up to 99.9% in two hours, with an 80% reduction in the first 15 minutes compared to an unprotected surface where they can proliferate at dramatic rates.

Suitable substrates:

• Good quality fair faced brick or blockwork.
• Sand and cement rendering 1:3 with a steel trowel finish.
• 12.5 mm-thick plasterboard.
• Ceramic tiles which are securely bonded to substrate.
• 9 mm (minimum) W.P.B resin bonded to substrate.
• Pink lightweight plasters are generally not suitable.
• Some surfaces may need PVA sealer subject to site survey.
