Description

Internal low-pressure pipe system is available to suit a range of couplings comprising a stainless steel collar and an EPDM gasket for jointing aluminium pipes from 50 to 200 mm.

Features and benefits:

The system joints remain watertight under conditions of pipeline movement and have adequate resistance to the type and quantity of chemicals likely to be found in above-ground rainwater drainage. An independent examination of the system satisfied the requirements of BS EN 877:1999 including:

  • Properties of EPDM sealing gasket;
  • Watertightness at an internal pressure of 5 bar for sizes up to 200Ø;
  • Watertightness at a pressure of 0.5 bar;
  • Effects of thermal cycling;
  • Ease of jointing.
