Description

Manufactured from locally sourced high-grade aggregates and premium quality iron oxide pigments, a bespoke rumbling process fully distresses the block to give a much more authentic reclaimed cobbled effect compared to antiquing systems or products produced without secondary processing.


Features and benefits:

  • Available in four colour ranges and various sizes, permitting a range of laying patterns.
  • 80 mm blocks available for heavy duty pavements with regular heavy traffic.

Technical characteristics:

  • All-through mix.
  • Efflorescence: factory controlled vapour curing significantly reduces this naturally occurring chemical reaction.
  • Tensile Splitting: >3.6 MPa. This applies to all sizes and depths.

  • BREEAM rating: 40–60mm: A Rating – according to the Green Guide to Specification 4th edition 2009. A+ Rating can be achieved when used in conjunction with a prepared recycled sub-base. 80 mm: B Rating – according to the Green Guide to Specification 4th edition 2009. A Rating can be achieved when used in conjunction with a prepared recycled sub-base.
