Dual Mode Shower Assembly with Dual Lever Controls, VR Head, Hose and Handset (incl. ILTDU) - Doc M Accessible Showers

Horne bimodal, shower panel includes integral Type 3 compliant thermostatic shower valve pre-plumbed within a white epoxy-polyester powder-coated aluminium panel, with manual flow diverter, lever hand controls, vandal resistant shower head, hose with single function handset, integral in-line thermal disinfection unit, pipe cover and wall-mounted riser/grab rail.

• 465 mm/ 940 mm pipe cover in same profile as panel with key access point for ILTDU operation.

• Fixed vandal resistant (VR) shower head (mode 1) - easy to clean and maintain with large area spray plate and two directional spray settings.
• 1.25 m hose (PVC liner) - easy-clean and antikink, with single function handset for assisted showering (mode 2).
• Robust wall-mounted riser / grab rail (maximum load 150 kgf) in white/grey, or deep orange/grey to assist visually impaired. 675 mm between fixing centres (see note 2 below).
• Inclusive design riser carriage and handset holder, easy operation, plus pull-tab for easy lowering of handset for smaller and wheelchair users.
• 8 L/min flow regulator in VR head for water and energy conservation.
• Low level integral servicing valves for ease of maintenance and performance-testing.

Required accessories

• Operation key for ILTDU, P/N 6236 (one key per site operative).

• Flushing Kit (for compliant commissioning, and periodic elevated velocity pipework flushing for biofilm control and improved water quality).

• Wall-mounted grab rails , 675 mm between centres, to colour match riser rail (white/grey and orange/grey).

Note 1: the ILTDU is also available as a stand-alone unit for installation upstream of any thermostatic tap, shower, or mixing valve (TMV). Further detail here.

Note 2: Current arrangement includes wall-mounted riser rail with approx. 600 mm adjustment range (fixing points at 675 mm). From late 2024, the standard issue rail in this package will have fixing centres at 1060 mm giving approx. 1000 mm adjustment range and enhancing compliance across the broadest range of Accessible design standards and guidelines.
