DuraPost® Acoustic Fencing

The acoustic fencing barrier solution offers a sound reduction of 28 dB, as tested and compliant with the BS EN 1793-2 and BS EN 16272-2. This solution is well-suited for both commercial and residential applications that demand effective noise reduction capabilities. This fence system is built using ‘Commercial’ DuraPosts® and tongue and groove reflective acoustic timber boards. Rubber acoustic seals combine with the patented DuraPost® technology to provide an acoustic barrier.

Commercial DuraPost®:

Constructed from cold rolled pre-galvanized (DX51D Z275NA-C) steel, manufactured to EN 10346. For powder coating consult the manufacturer for details.

Accoustic Timber Boards:

Constructed from 70% PEFC Certified 200 x 47 mm slow-grown redwood boards. The rebated capping is constructed from 85 x 35 mm twice weathered 70% PEFC Certified slow-grown redwood.

Rubber Seal:

10 mm thick x 50 mm wide Cellular Adhesive EPDM Sponge Strip. A general purpose sponge rubber with excellent resistance to air, water, UV and weathering. Temperature range is -40 to +80°C.

• Static Load Testing: 1000 kg / 981 0N
• Acoustic Rating: 28 dB reduction.
