Application

With a Class A1 Fire Rating this is designed specifically for commercial and residential balconies and roof-top terraces on high-rise buildings.

The R12 Anti-Slip rating, high resistance and durability make it ideal for high-traffic areas such as swimming pool walkways, beachfront promenades, marinas, quaysides, pedestrian walkways, shopping centres, and communal areas of hotels and offices.

Also suitable for: patios, porches, gardens, outdoor dining areas, communal walkways, pathways, outdoor gyms, recreational spaces, courtyards, smoking zones, and restaurant terraces.

Description

Exadeck is the first decking system made of extruded ceramic boards on the market. Designed with architects in mind, Exadeck is sustainable, stylish, fire-safe, and easy to install on raised access railing systems or flat surfaces.

Exadeck boasts all the beauty of real wood, with minimal maintenance and care.

The extruded ceramic boards are suitable for a wide range of applications interior and exterior and are specifically designed for high-footfall areas. It is resistant to high-temperature changes (hot and cold) and has a high anti-slip-grip (R12) with a Class A1 Fire Rating.

The boards are rectified. Rectification ensures straight edges, and combined with the high consistency in production, this makes Exadeck extremely easy to lay and install.

Exadeck does not contain any nasty chemicals and the boards are inert to most chemical reactions. This is not the case with wood decking, composite decking, cement fibre decking and aluminium decking.

Sustainability

Archiproducts Design Awards awarded Exadeck the 2022 Sustainability Award due to the minimum environmental impact throughout the product's entire life cycle.

The design features a minimum of 41% recycled content, with a recyclable system that can be dissembled.

100% of the residual material generated during the production process is recovered and all industrial wastewater is reintroduced, minimising the consumption of water resources per square meter of product manufactured.

The use of local raw materials (clays) further reduces the carbon footprint.
