Application

Rotating machines and equipment that are not properly balanced produced centrifugal forces, creating steady state and random vibration/ Machines generating pulses or impacts, such as forging presses, injection moulding, impact testers, hammers, centrifugal pumps, and compressors are the most predominate source of vibration and shock.

FAB-EPM HP® suitable for building and machine foundation isolation, and light rail applications.

FABSORB® suitable for vibration isolation applications of support foundations for machine tools, shock testing equipment, grinders, and similar equipment.

FAB-EFP® suitable for an extensive range of applications, from isolating inertia masses and buildings, to industrial equipment.

Description

Vibrating, rotating, reciprocating, and impacting equipment create machine-induced vibration and/or shock, which is transmitted to their support systems.

In order to achieve acceptable amplitude of vibration at the source of recipient, it becomes necessary to make the support structure independent (isolated) from the rest of the environment - preventing vibration from being transmitted directly through the support structure.

At Fabreeka® we offer various solutions for foundation isolation:

FAB-EPM-HP® isolation materials provide a low frequency isolation, ease of install and design flexibility to meet a wide range of applications under equipment and machinery, as well as isolating a building or structure from its surroundings.

  • Natural Frequency ranges from 6Hz to 40Hz
  • Damping rate is 4%-9% of critical
  • Impervious to most chemicals, alkaline solutions, and oils
  • Supplied in rolls for easy installation

FABSORB® vibration isolation material is an economical approach to foundation isolation where moderate vibration control is needed.

  • Natural frequency ranges form 11Hz to 50Hz
  • Impervious to most chemicals
  • Performs consistently over a wide range of temperatures and time
  • Supplied in sheets for easy installation

FAB-EFP® is a cost-effective, environmentally friendly isolation material created from recycled products. The material comes in large sheets for easy installation, with a wide load range producing consistent performance. There are several different densities available for an extensive range of applications.

  • Natural frequency of 11Hz can be achieved at 2 inches thick for superior damping
  • Damping coefficient remains constant over all densities
  • Converging natural frequency over large loading ranges for consistent performance
  • Impervious to most chemicals and oils
  • Supplied in sheets for easy installation
  • Recycled rubber mixture
