A soft, flexible plaster and render made from air setting lime, chalk and fibres with exceptional breathability and flexibility.
Fibrelime is made to an historic recipe, using fat lime, chalk and fibres to give a great deal of flexibility in a very soft plastering and rendering mortar. It comes as a dry bagged material, just add water and mix in the fibres using a paddle mixer. With a slow air set, it is best reserved for internal use and rendered in sheltered areas outside without high levels of wind driven rain.
Fibrelime will give a smooth finish. It can be used to follow contours of the underlying building to give a “wobbly” shape, or if applied in several coats it may be finished as a flat surface.
