Application

This fire rated Circular Access Panels is designed to fit into a structural membrane of a jointless plasterboard wall and ceiling system. The circular access panel is for inspection use only and is not suitable for personnel access.

This panel is not acoustic or air pressure tested.

Description

The FlipFix one hour fire rated Circular Access Panels are simple to install and suitable for ceilings, where regular maintenance to services is required. This ceiling access panel fitting requires no battening out of the structural opening due to the unique FlipFix device which clamps the frame on to the rear of the boards.

The Circular Access Panel is fitted with safety wires to prevent the door from falling uncontrollably on opening.

The ceiling access panel is powder coated in RAL9010 30% Gloss (other colours are available upon request). The Circular Access Panel is for inspection purposes only and not suitable for personnel access.

Features and benefits:

Easy to install, with no battening out of the structural opening required - the FlipFix device clamps the ceiling access panel directly up to the rear of the plasterboard, and the panel fits into a pre-cut hole (to be cut 5 mm larger than panel size).
The panel is manufactured with a 25 mm-wide picture frame.
The panel's door leaf is locked in place by a twist and locate action.
The panel is one hour fire rated for integrity up to 600 mm diameter in a ceiling application.
