Fire Rated Electricity Meter Overbox

Fire-rated electricity meter over boxes provide fire protection for meters inside communal areas within buildings. These boxes are wall mounted and enclose the utility meters in order to prevent the spread of fire.

Fire-rated electricity meter over boxes are constructed using fire-resistant zintec steel. Tested and certified to meet one hour fire resistance against test standard EN 1634-1+A1: 2018. 

The door is fitted with a spring pin hinge and is easily removed when fitting, saving time and money by making it much easier to fit than similar products with fixed hinges. In addition, it gives the flexibility to hinge the door on the right or the left hand side. The door is secured by two quarter turn locks. Budget lock (opened with 8 mm square drive key) or Tamper Proof lock insert for additional security.
