A continuous radiant tube heating system for industrial and commercial properties, including aircraft hangars, train care depots, museums and sports facilities.
For industrial and commercial properties including warehouses, factories, showrooms, retail outlets, garage workshops, distribution depots, aircraft hangars, museums, train care depots and sports facilities.
An ETL approved continuous radiant tube heating system from Powrmatic and SRP.
The Powrmatic SRP, PCV or PCV+ is a low intensity infrared continuous multi-burner space heating system, high efficiency condensing or mid efficiency non-condensing vacuum controlled, featuring positioned tuned in-line burners to guarantee the optimum efficiency in the industry, designed and manufactured in accordance with BS EN 17175:2019 for multi-burner systems.
The continuous radiant tube systems (PCV and PCV+) have a Seasonal Space Heating Energy Efficiency (SSHEE) of; >90% (PCV 90.1% and PCV+ 92.1%) and are listed on the Carbon Trust, Energy Technology List (ETL).
The burners are position-tuned to provide maximum radiant output from each section of radiant branch, and are designed to operate in specific in-line positions in the radiant branch to ensure equal firing rates for each burner in the branch. Except for the first burner, subsequent burners in a leg shall have firing rates within +/- 2% of each other. The burner incorporates a patented metering device to patent number; 5,842,854 and a unique Air Flow Plate for its rating and position along the radiant branch which regulates the air/fuel mixture flow at the burner as if the burner were sensing exactly the same vacuum no matter the position of the burner in the branch. The resulting feature maintains a more even heat output throughout the entire radiant branch. Radiant branches can contain up to four burners in-line on a single branch and capable of modulating to 60% of normal firing rates.
Burner assemblies are CE approved to EN 17175:2019 for use in commercial and industrial applications and ERP compliant. Burners are designed for a negative pressure burner system operating under the stoichiometric principle, with exhaust gases and other products of combustion routed through to a fan, to outside. The burners operate at a minimum gas inlet pressure of 17.5 mbar (natural gas) or 28 mbar (propane – for PCV+ Burners only) and draw no more than 0.1 Amp at 230 V a.c., 50 Hz. The burner head and mounting body are heavy-duty cast-iron and the burner controls allow for service and diagnostic control checks with the burner operating.
End vent flow rates are kept to a minimum, according to the manufacturer’s design criteria, as necessary to maximize radiant output from the system.
Reflectors of 23-gauge mill finished aluminium have a minimum 10-sided reflector design reflecting virtually 100% of the infrared energy out and away from the emitter tubes. The reflector design is “Deep Dish” with emitter tubes fully recessed within reflector.
