Description

A combined multi burner herringbone common exhaust system with up to 400 kW heat capacity on a single exhaust fan. Multiple individual Linier or U Tube heaters will be combined in a single aluminium manifold exhaust system and flued via a robust exhaust vacuum fan terminating with a wall or roof 130mm dia propriatory flue discharging to atmosphere.

Herringbone gas fired radiant tube heating system consisting of individual SRP Powrmatic PVLHB two stage Hi/Low fire vacuum burners. Each burner having automatic electronic sequence control box with three strike ignition, flame ionisation, control module error codes. – Airflow fault, – Flame – No call for heat, – Ignition Lockout, – Control Fault. and a multi functional gas governor block. 

 

The SRP Powrmatic gas fired herringbone radiant heating system shall be manufactured to comply with ErP Lot20 seasonal efficiency. The system shall be installed in accordance with current IGE & IEE regulations and BS 6896.

 

The SRP Powrmatic PVLHB radiant heating system shall operate under negative pressure during operation with the inbuilt differential proving air pressure sensor in each of the burner housings sensing the correct amount of differential vacuum providing protection as dictated by BS EN777-4:1999. Each SRP Powrmatic heater will be balanced on commissioning by the adjustment of an exhaust damper assembly positioned on each radiant tube unit and set in accordance with the manufacturers’ instructions.

 

Each burner shall be complete with gas isolation valve and flexible gas hose connection with union and installed as per manufacturers instruction manual.

 

The SRP Powrmatic radiant emitter tube shall be Ø100mm mild steel tube, with none flake Calorised Aluminised finish. The Calorised tube shall be hot coated internally and externally with aluminium, then heat treated in a controlled furnace fusing the aluminium into the surface of the steel and ensuring that the seam weld is coated with aluminium.

 

A twist lock turbulator shall be employed within the assembled 100mm tube to maximise the tube heat transfer and swirl combustion gas improving its scrubbing action.

 

High Efficiency multi-faceted reflectors of low weight ASTM 1100 Aluminium shall direct radiant heat output downward and having a unique design profile to maximise the reflected radiant heat, End Caps to minimise convection loss, and galvanised suspension brackets for horizontal or angled mounting to maximis installation of the Ø100mm and Ø150mm bespoke aluminium spiral wound exhaust manifold system, with all associated fittings, and fixtures to complete the installation in accordance with the drawing 

 

The SRP Powrmatic Herringbone 100mm & 150mm dia exhaust manifold system will terminate with the Powrmatic vacuum exhaust fan (Type F1, F2, ) and flued to atmosphere through the roof side wall as appropriate with suitable rubberised roof flashing or wall terminal with plate as necessary to complete the installation. The centrifugal vacuum fan shall be robust and manufactured from fabricated steel plate or cast construction and coated with heat and corrosion resistant paint.

The system can be controlled from a Powrmatic single zone MC200v3 or MC400 four zone control incorporating optimum start and optimum stop, and Radiant Black Bulb Sensor's mounted at 1500mm AFFL.
