Glidevale Protect Framesafe FR - Class A2 Flame Retardant Wall Breather Membrane

Protect FrameSafe FR is a high performance, Class A2 flame retardant breather membrane, designed for use on the external side of the frame to integrate with closed jointed façade wall structures on low, medium and high rise buildings. With the Building Regulations Approved Document B for fire safety requiring an external wall membrane to achieve at least a Class B fire rating for structures over 11 m in height, Protect FrameSafe FR exceeds this requirement.

Featuring an intricately woven glass fibre fabric with a uniquely developed waterproof and fire resistant coating, Protect FrameSafe FR provides a primary line of protection to the whole of the external wall during the construction process and once built ensures a second line of defence against rainwater penetration, whilst offering added protection against the propagation of fire.
